Little pea shoots

Sturdy chaps these. So far they have withstood frost, attempted drowning and repeated toddler foot pressure. Wish them luck!

(They are the Kelvedon Wonder variety, for the record.)

Great photo! Seeing new shoots appear after Winter is quite magical, isn't it? I never cease to be thrilled by new signs of life in the garden & the countryside. Simple pleasures but priceless,
